Sure has been awhile, eh? Things have changed. Changed. I’m better than all this; above them. I’ve conquered the Green Flu. My body is beaten, bruised, scarred. But my soul is not broken. I’ll survive. I’m stronger, smarter. I’ve seen their point-of-view. Reborn.

((It’s been 5 months, holy shit. I am sincerely sorry. I moved into an apartment, got 2 jobs and lost track of time. But frankly, after seeing Hyena reply to this question, it’s as if he’s been “reborn”. My headcanon for Cobalt/Damien has been clouding my abilities to focus on drawing him [when I do have the time]. Because he’s going on “3yrs old” this month. Not joking. After all that literal time, I figure he’s long since dead or possibly survived through everything. Preferred the latter. Having the diluted strain to begin with, paired with his instincts to stay safe and eventually “healthy” lifestyle after partnering with Hy- it makes sense to ME, that he’d generate an immunity to the hunger and sickness??

This is what you’d suppose is a “CLOSED” to this blog ***for now***. (If anyone wants to ask questions to the cured Damien, I may consider replying if inspired). Hyena’s creator is still given permission and liberties to continue drawing him infected, cured, survivor etc etc as she wishes and/or receives questions. I just don’t have the capacity anymore!

My story is not your average run-of-the-mill, “oh I got bit, scratched, attacked!”. As a matter of fact, I got it from making out with my ex-girlfriend. Explained here. She got it from…someone? else, and I ended up with a diluted strain. I’d never think to say I’m thankful, but at least I’m not some brainless monster. For now.

((I spent 95% of my time drawing the stubble on this one. And HOORAY I’ve been waiting for a chance to draw his tongue stud for ages. Haha.))

Frankly, with my track record, I stay the fuck away from the so-called Survivors I mean, come on. Sure full of yourself to take on such a nick-name. They’re nothing more than food that tastes more fresh?

But…it seems my dear Hyena has succumb to the inverse-plague. So conflicted about this predicament. I’m not sure if I should stay away…or protect her? Though she is always capable of handling things herself…I’m scared. Other infected would not be so forgiving. She means too much to me to allow anything, to happen again.
